From a small town in Southeastern PA, Richard moved west as soon as he could. He's lived all over the US and is currently falling in love with the Pacific Northwest. He spends his free time reading trip reports, training and planning for the next trip, whether that be packrafting in Texas, backpacking in Colorado, or closer-to-home cragging at Index (near Seattle).
